Open Positions

Part-time Facilitator: St. Paul Evening Program

$25 per hour, 6 hours per week

The Retreat is seeking a part-time Facilitator to join our Non-Residential Programs team, in the St. Paul Evening Program, Monday & Wednesday evenings. This position is responsible for leading the supportive and educational, small group process for people in early recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Our average group size is 10-12 women and men. We use the spiritual principles of the twelve steps and the retreat’s Evening Program curriculum as the guide. We are looking for someone with personal experience living the twelve steps and a passion for teaching and supporting the retreat’s abstinence based twelve step model of recovery. Candidates with experience in group facilitation, teaching, training, leading teams and other relevant and transferrable skills are encouraged to apply!

Part-time Facilitator: 55+ Program

$25 per hour, 6 hours per week

The Retreat is seeking a part-time Facilitator to join our Non-Residential Programs team, in the 55+ Program – at our main site in Wayzata, Monday & Wednesday mornings. This position is responsible for leading the supportive and educational, small group process for older adults in early recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Our average group size is 10-12 women and men. We use the spiritual principles of the twelve steps and the retreat’s 55+ Program curriculum as the guide, addressing topics relevant to older adults such as; grief & loss, forgiveness & aging well and aging & recovery. We are looking for someone with personal experience living the twelve steps and a passion for teaching and supporting the retreat’s abstinence based twelve step model of recovery. Candidates with experience in group facilitation, teaching, training, leading teams and other relevant and transferrable skills are encouraged to apply!

Part-time Retreat Assistant: Men’s Center

$18 per hour

The Retreat is seeking a part-time Retreat Assistant in the Men’s Center to join our Guest Services team. This position is responsible for handling incoming calls in a professional manner; pre-registering potential guests and answering and assisting with program questions. This position will additionally processing all paperwork for guest check-ins and check-outs, guide guests with any questions or issues within the recovery environment and program and uphold program expectations as well as communicate in a dignified manner with all guests and staff. The Retreat Assistant will also assist with office responsibilities and handle any conflicts that may occur per Retreat protocol. Most hours would occur evenings, weekend with some holidays. Applicants would begin training immediately!

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Part-time Housekeeper

$20 per hour

The Retreat is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our Facilities team, at our main site in Wayzata. This roll plays an essential part in supporting a healing and respectful environment for individuals and families in recovery. This position is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our guests and program participants. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, common areas and restrooms; laundering linens, restocking supplies and helping to maintain a high standard of overall cleanliness throughout our facilities. This position is perfect for someone looking for a flexible work schedule with some occasional evening and weekend work hours, most hours occurring Monday – Thursday of each week. Applicants would begin training immediately!
