About the Indianapolis Area

Indianapolis, which people sometimes just call “Indy,” is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Indiana. It is also the county seat of Marion County. The city is in central Indiana, on the West Fork of the White River, close to where it meets Fall Creek. The total number of people living there was 887,642 at the 2020 census. It has the 16th most people in the United States.

Everywhere in Indiana, the addiction crisis is causing terrible problems. Almost half a million people in Indiana, or about 1 in 12, meet the criteria for having a substance use disorder. Between 2000 and 2014, Indiana’s drug-related death rate increased fourfold.

Virtual Drugs & Alcohol Rehab Program at Indianapolis

Any form of abuse must be addressed before it results in the loss or destruction of precious lives. That is why The Retreat offers residential programs in Minnesota as well as a virtual rehabilitation program for people struggling with substance abuse. Through these programs, individuals and families can gain stability and support.

The improvement of people’s quality of life is our primary objective. Relapsed or struggling individuals can find support in one of our many programs. You can classify all of these programs as either alcohol recovery or drug rehab.

We are all aware that alcoholism is a serious issue. At The Retreat, we believe that the first step toward recovery is a commitment to living a clean life and continuing to grow. Thus, we prioritize making sure that alcohol recovery is available to everyone. We modify each of our virtual alcohol recovery programs to meet the specific needs of the Indianapolis community.

Regarding drug addiction, there are proven methods for overcoming it. Our virtual rehab program in Indianapolis includes a diverse range of strategies. Included in this are psychotherapy, courses, and long-term behavioral counseling. With the help of these programs, people can conquer their desires and overcome the things that trigger them every day. As a bonus, these programs are useful for kicking bad behaviors.

Our Addiction Recovery Programs at The Retreat

The Retreat is an inspiration to those fighting addiction. We offer a virtual retreat program to help those who are battling substance misuse get back on their feet. All of our programs are based on Alcoholics Anonymous’s (AA) Twelve Steps. The following is an outline of the services that we provide:

Men’s Residential

Men who are in recovery can feel much better at The Retreat’s Center for Men’s Recovery. In this section, they learn more about their path to recovery and the basics of staying sober. Our retreat gives men the chance to learn things that will make them better leaders. Over and above that, people who attend learn how to use the Twelve Steps in real life.

Our dedicated group has discovered that recovery programs that include spiritual elements in daily life have a better chance of working. We have faith that a man can stay sober for a very long time if he follows the Twelve Steps.

We start the men’s recovery program by going over the variety of options that are available to those who are interested in joining. Helping men overcome their struggles with substance abuse is the main focus of the program. A spiritual rebirth can take place as well when men in recovery help each other.

Women’s Residential

Women who use drugs regularly are more likely to experience intense cravings and organ damage. There is a higher probability of relapse for them as well. So, it would be a mistake to discount the significance of women’s recovery.

Women can not recover without a safe, welcoming, and encouraging group. The Retreat is the place where they come across this very thing. For that reason, they have an easier time blending in with the rest of the recovering community.

In the opinion of our team, staying together is the key to a speedy detox and recovery from addiction. This is why the women who come to our rehab work together to help each other’s spiritual growth.

A woman’s dedication to her sobriety and exploration of her recovery options are also imperative for her progress. Addressing this matter has consistently been our objective. Members of our trained staff educate participants on the subject of addiction. Participating women receive tools to help them stay sober when they go about their day-to-day lives.

Evening Program

Anyone interested in a retreat who is not quite ready to completely disconnect from the world will adore this program. Their regular outpatient care can be replaced with this 18-week program.

Individuals can learn about the Twelve Steps and their impact on addiction in this program. People looking to apply must be in a new stage of sobriety, have recently completed a residential program, or be in recovery from a relapse.

Within this program, you can meet other sober people and learn how to live your life according to the AA rules. The place is safe and supportive, which helps people heal over time. As a group, attendees read the Big Book’s “Design for Living” section. People also learn the ropes of recovery and find people to lean on in their time of need.

The regular application of recovery principles further helps addicts learn self-control. Participants get support from their peers when they are just starting to recover. Doing so increases the likelihood that they will admit fault.

55Plus Program

Those in their 55s and beyond can find a sobering community at the Retreat 55-Plus Program. Here, they will get the 12 steps and support they need to live sober lives.

Our tried-and-true method can help anyone who is open to change connect with others who are further along the road to recovery. We also connect them to other recovery resources.

Participant problem-solving and emotional/spiritual growth are priorities in our day program. Those 55 and up are able to socialize more easily because of this.

We have on-site AA meetings on Tuesdays at 8 and 10 am, Thursdays at 10 am, Fridays at 10 am, and Sundays at 10 am. If you meet the requirements, you are welcome to attend.

Relapse Program

If you have been sober for a while but have experienced a minor relapse, our Relapse Program may be able to assist you. Participants are typically required to be currently residing in a sober living facility and intend to remain there following the program’s completion.

Renewal Program

Through our Renewal Program, sober individuals can rediscover the things that matter most to them. That is why our overnight guests are always a part of our routine and not an afterthought.

Family Program

The sudden need to help a loved one who is addicted can put families in a state of panic. Those kinds of families are perfect for our Family Program. Practical help and education on how to handle a loved one’s drug problem are both offered by this program.

It makes sense that alcoholism affects the whole family. To solve this tricky problem, we will need to work together. Friends and family are highly significant to our program due to this. Families can learn to understand and help each other through this program.

Participants learn about addiction, family ties, and the 12-step recovery process from Alcoholics Anonymous within this program.

Sober Housing

We know people are more likely to recover when they have time, order, and support systems through structured living. Hence, our sober living communities in St. Paul are more than meets the eye. People can live out the recovery principles on a daily basis in these safe places.

We have established gender-specific workspaces thanks to the structure and support that have allowed us to do so. In this setting, people can get their questions about addiction and recovery answered. Both the men’s and women’s quarters can accommodate up to 70 people. Through this medium, individuals can come together in solidarity.

Those who choose to reside in our sober houses have a refuge in our organization. The longevity of the healing depends on this. Plus, we are very close to a number of parks and eateries. Simply being in this kind of environment is beneficial to anyone’s health.

We prioritize the needs of addicts in recovery here at The Retreat. Hence, participation, payment, and dedication for at least six months are necessary for the program to be successful. To make friends and find sponsors, people in the area should go to at least four AA meetings a week. House meetings are held once a week. The Big Book studies round out the necessary services.

Choosing the Right Indianapolis Virtual Recovery Program

Finding the top virtual addiction rehab program in Indianapolis might be challenging, but it is possible. Remember to factor in the following:

  • You need to look for a program that gives you a lot of different choices for getting well. The depth and breadth of a program’s service offerings determine how well it can cater to your unique needs.
  • Study after study has shown that evidence-based recovery programs can change to fit your needs. That is why it is advised to go with such programs.
  • People who are battling substance abuse and those who are sober should be put in the same setting. This is an indicator that the organization knows what they are up to.
  • At all times, program participants should feel safe and supported. With this chance, they can put their problems in the past for good.

There is no one “right” way to recover from substance misuse. In other words, most people can find a program that suits them. Comparing services is fundamental for getting the best results.

With the support of a program and other sober individuals, it is feasible to maintain sobriety while also attending to one’s own needs. Likewise, if you are committed to getting well, we at The Retreat can help.
