Des Moines Virtual Recovery Program at The Retreat

The Retreat is proud to offer a Des Moines virtual recovery program for substance abusers. We prioritize community and culture here at our facility. With the help of spiritual experiences, we help our clients heal and grow over the long haul. Among these activities are learning, programs for both individuals and groups and 12-step immersion.

Virtual Drugs & Alcohol Rehab Program at Des Moines

Substance abuse has far-reaching negative effects on society. It has the potential to impact your emotional and psychological well-being. It can also deteriorate your connections with those closest to you. Nonetheless, seeking assistance from loved ones, medical professionals, or professional counselors is never a shame.

Those in Des Moines who are struggling with substance abuse can receive virtual assistance from our team. We modify our virtual rehabilitation program to meet the specific requirements of our clients.

Complete sobriety is the goal of our alcohol recovery program. On the other hand, our virtual drug rehab program is designed to suit the unique requirements of each patient. We collaborate closely with experts in the field who can assist those struggling with substance misuse. People with severe mental or behavioral issues can receive assistance in this manner.

Our Addiction Recovery Programs at The Retreat

Drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers are experiencing skyrocketing costs. The availability of necessary assistance is decreasing. Fortunately, there is still The Retreat. For those seeking sobriety, we provide a cost-effective virtual rehab program in Des Moines. Our programs are built around the spiritual and life-affirming Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). The programs that we provide are detailed below:

Men’s Residential

Men find peace and friendship at The Retreat’s Center for Men’s Recovery. Here, they learn to live sober lives and deepen their recovery path. Responsible leadership is a skill that the men who attend our retreat learn how to cultivate. Plus, they learn how to be an active participant in their daily lives and the Twelve Steps.

Our committed staff knows that programs that include spiritual ideas in daily life are more likely to be successful. They start the men’s recovery program by explaining the recovery options that are available to the participants. The primary objective of the program is to inspire men to stop using drugs and start living their lives sober.

In order to start over spiritually, everyone in the recovery program helps everyone else. Following the Twelve Steps can lead any self-respecting man to long-term sobriety, in our opinion.

Women’s Residential

Organ damage and intense cravings are more common in women who take drugs regularly over an extended period of time. Relapse is also more probable for them. This highlights the critical nature of women’s rehabilitation and the need not to disregard it.

For women, The Retreat is a sanctuary of safety, support, and caring. Here, they are able to swiftly integrate into the community of people who are seeking recovery.

Unity, in our view, is the key to a successful rehabilitation. This is why the ladies who visit our Center for Women’s Recovery collaborate to help each other grow spiritually.

Also, it is vital to learn about your recovery options and make a firm commitment to staying sober in order to make progress. This is something that we never forget to address. On top of that, our trained staff educates participants about addiction. They also provide the participants with the resources they need to maintain sobriety in their daily lives. To provide a comprehensive strategy, we have in-house programs, retreats, and seminars.

Evening Program

An alternative to conventional outpatient care, the Evening Program lasts for 18 weeks. It’s perfect for people who would like to go on a retreat but can’t quite tear themselves away from their regular lives yet. By teaching the Twelve Steps, this program explains the consequences of addiction and sets people on the path to recovery. Newcomers to sobriety, those who need post-residential support, and those recovering from relapse are the perfect candidates.

This program can help you build meaningful relationships with other sober people and live by AA principles every day. In order to facilitate long-term healing, it offers a secure and encouraging setting. Individuals walk through the “Design for Living” section of the Big Book. It teaches them the basics of recovery and helps them form support systems. Besides, addicts learn to live in control of their thoughts and behaviors by using recovery concepts every day. Participants also receive peer support in the early phases of recovery. This helps them hold themselves accountable.

55Plus Program

Those in their 55s and beyond can find a sober community of peers through our 55-Plus Program. Our program will teach them the 12 steps and provide them with the support they need to get sober and go on with their lives.

People who are ready to make a change can find others who are further along the path to recovery through our time-tested method. We link them up with additional recovery tools as well.

There is an emphasis on emotional and spiritual development and problem-solving in our day program. It removes obstacles and facilitates friendship-making for those 55 and older.

Anyone eligible can join us for our Elder AA meetings on-site on Tuesday (8 and 10 am), Thursday (10 am), Friday (10 am), and Sunday (10 am).

Relapse Program

Our Relapse Program is designed to help people who have been clean for some time but have had a small slip-up. Participants must typically be enrolled in a sober living facility and have a clear intention of returning there upon the conclusion of the program.

Renewal Program

Our Renewal Program offers individuals in recovery an opportunity to return to the fundamentals. One way we do this is by incorporating our residential guests into our regular schedule and activities.

Family Program

Families often find themselves in a state of urgency when trying to assist their loved ones. Our Family Program is designed for such caring family members. We give you advice on how to respond effectively and give real help if a family member is struggling with substance abuse.

We recognize the widespread impact of alcoholism on the entire family unit. It’s a complex issue that necessitates a collective solution. Hence, friends and relatives are vital parts of our program. This initiative facilitates mutual understanding and support within families. The Twelve Steps of AA provide participants with helpful insights into family dynamics, addiction, and recovery.

Sober Housing

St. Paul’s sober living homes are more than just pretty. They are safe places where recovery concepts can be practiced every day. Structured living gives people time, order, and necessary support that can help them get better.

We’ve made self-governing places for both men and women by focusing on structure and support. The people taking part learn more about addiction and how to use tools for getting better. Also, housing for both men and women can hold up to 70 people. This brings people together and helps each other.

People who live in our sober houses leave with a strong network of support. This is very important for long-term healing. Apart from that, our homes are close to restaurants and nature walks. This kind of place is good for your health in general.

The Retreat’s main goal is to help drug addicts live better lives. We require a six-month commitment, on-time payments, and full-time participation to make sure the program works. Residents go to at least four AA meetings a week to build bonds with their sponsors and bring the community together. In addition to service responsibilities, there are weekly house meetings and Big Book studies.

Choosing the Right Des Moines Virtual Recovery Program

Locating the virtual retreat is not always easy, but it is doable. It is critical that you find a program that provides diverse and effective recovery options. Some programs might not be able to adapt their care to your specific needs if they do not offer a range of services. As you get better, programs that are based on evidence are more likely to be able to change to meet your needs.

Know that drug and alcohol addiction can be beaten in many ways. That means that most people can get a program that works for them. For the best results, you should look at several services.

With the right recovery support, a good program can help you stay sober while still meeting your needs. People who want to get better can get help from us at The Retreat.

Why Choose Us?

Going to rehab and being willing to stick with it are the most significant things you can do to get better. Here at The Retreat, we know how hard it is to stay sober when you are dealing with drug and alcohol abuse. Your physical, mental, and emotional well-being are our top priorities as we assist you in your sobriety journey.

Because we put the needs of our clients first, we are able to adjust our services to each addict individually. Doing so improves the odds of success. For that reason, our programs are divided into distinct sessions. The target audience for each session is varied.

We provide 12-step-based recovery programs, but we cannot replace professional medical options for addiction. Our virtual alcohol addiction counseling can help people in Des Moines who are looking for it.

Virtual recovery might not always work for you, though. In that case, you are welcome to come see us in person at our office in Wayzata. Feel free to come in whenever you want.
