We experience blessings, lessons, and losses. Sometimes we walk through windfalls, the loss of a job, illnesses, and even the death of a loved one. This is life. It is not personal; it happens to everyone. We need to find a way to bless it all. The worst thing we could do is to become a victim or martyr.\nThere is an opportunity and a gift in it all, but the challenge is how to sort through it and begin the New Year with a clean slate and a fresh start. This is easier to do together, so let’s start 2027 with connection and support as we move forward into whatever will come next.\nAttendees Will Experience\n\nAn opportunity to retreat from the pull of the daily distractions in our lives\nConnection with others on this spiritual path, including group discussion\nExploration of spiritual practices\nNourishment, with meals prepared by The Retreat’s award-winning chef\n\nAbout Roger B.\nRoger has been active in 12 Step recovery for more than 47 years, is a Spiritual Director, and is an effective teacher. He takes to heart the necessity of daily maintenance of our spiritual condition and continues “to seek,” as directed in the 11th Step, to grow in his own relationship with God.\nHe has a deep concern for individuals in 12 Step recovery and has extensive experience carrying the message of recovery. He has facilitated workshops and retreats in the Midwest and Canada.\nComplete the registration form on the flyer. Space is limited.
